On his new mix of “Classic,” RAC takes the Knocks’ dance-pop hit and tones it
down a bit. The main creative choice in the mix is replacing the Knocks‘ house beat with subdued tropical drums and more reggae inspired bass. Otherwise, the chorus listens very similarly just with the piano bumped up in the mix. It is a pleasent enough listen but not really a wide jump from the original.
