Clocking in at 1:45, Mary Epworth‘s “September” hardly feels like a single. Instead it seems like a taste–what a drug deal would give you for free to get you hooked. With the pounding drums, dark synths, and Epworth’s soaring vocals, “September” gets you interested but ends just before you get too comfortable. The result: you have to listen to the track over and over again to get your fix.
