Last year, Memoryy released his debut album, Skeletons which spawned the #1 hypemachine single, “Not Over You.” For 2018, he has a remix EP dropping on June 15th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the Drinker remix of “Not Over You.” The Los Angeles-based synth-pop duo gives “Not Over You” an atmospheric remix. The sheer variety of percussion sounds in the remix is impressive. Starting with a finger-snapped beat and hi-hats before some 80s snare drum is added. After what would be considered the drop, there are clavas, shakers, and more added to the cacophony of sound. It is a great remix that you do not necessarily need the context of the original to understand.
