As the sound of experimental electronic music is one of my favorite on Earth, my ears punctually perked up upon meeting Model 86’s Soundcloud portfolio for the first time. This London based producer retains quite the refreshing resume of work. Each of his songs are laden with off-the-wall drum patterns among other status-quo shattering elements. His latest track, titled “Fake Life Jackets,” is what I imagine a kaleidoscope would sound like. Peculiar percussion enlivens meandering melodies to make for a tune I’ll be enjoying for a while.
