Summer seems to have arrived early when this one blasts through the speakers. Combined with the first 80 degree day of pre-Spring, I can’t listen to Lissie‘s silky vocals and Boehm‘s well-crafted re-working of Morgan Page‘s “Don’t Give Up” without thinking of sunshine, a pool, and an $18 cocktail. This song is loaded with that early summer feeling of PROMISE. All the exciting things on the horizon, the freedom, and the chance to hang out with the one you’ve been scoping for weeks. I imagine this will be a spring break hit that continues to float gracefully well into the actual summer.
