Pacific Northwest rapper, Mostafa teams up with Oklahoma City’s Jabee for the final single from Mostafa’s Nvmnd album. “Tested” features a jazzy Don Avelar-produced beat which the two emcees take on with their unique voices. Mostafa described the song as “touching on navigating life’s trials, tribulations. Being tested and having the strength to keep going while staying true to self.” While the duo talk about the struggles, they do manage to end on an uplifting note with Mostafa describing it as “unloading a little bit of the weight and feeling as if the load’s just a little bit lighter.”
