Atlanta bedroom-pop artist Nadia Marie is preparing to release her new self-produced EP WeekdayWeekend on August 23rd. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere her new single, “Who Knew.”
The EP was written and recorded while Nadia Marie was dealing with with amnesia following a severe accident. Over gorgeous Wurlitzer piano hits, Nadia Marie sings about re-learning not only who she is but also who are the people around her. The song gets a little free jazz-y towards the end with the addition of saxophone and flute to really round out an esoteric yet catchy track.
