With news of Heavy D‘s death circulating around the internet, I knew it was only a matter of time before the remixes started pouring in. I have to admit considering its only a few hours removed from the news breaking, Cheapshot‘s remix of “We Got Our Own Thang” is actually really good. The mix of indie rock guitars and old skool hip hop works well. Check it out.
