It is hard for me to take Death to the Throne seriously. Not as a remixer because obviously he is awesome at that, more as a person. His email was titled “i made this lykke li remix for my nana….she didn’t like it so now you can have it”. Obviously that is sarcasm, but at some point in his email he said “i think this whole “house” music thing is gonna be big.” I read this and just hoped this is another example of sarcasm. It should be noted that sarcasm does not always translate well on the internet. DttT’s remix of Lykke Li translates well no matter where you listen to it. Check it out.
