Kid Cudi is one of those alternative rappers that has tasted some mainstream success. I have to say that I think his new track does not put him in any danger of tasting mainstream success. “Perfect is the Word” is a weird, guitar-filled journey that challenges what is and is not hip hop. It is probably worth a listen.
