If Elliott Smith and Conor Oberst had a child it might sound like Richmond, VA’s New Metro (nee Ben Foster). New Metro is preparing to release his debut album, Corolla on May 3rd. The album’s lead single is the all-acoustic ballad, “Ugly.” Be warned this song may cause depression or at least a bleaker outlook on the day.
