Since reforming in 2006, Billy Corgan and company have only managed to record one album, 2007’s Zeitgeist. Perhaps the endless flack that Corgan took for giving exclusive covers to big box retailers like Wal-Mart and Best Buy turned him off from releasing a new album. But just because you can not buy it does not mean new Smashing Pumpkins songs don’t exist. The band has been recording new songs and meticulously releasing them one at a time to form their new “album”, Teargarden by Kaleidyscope. The latest track from the “album” is “Freak”.
