Tracey Thorn is perhaps best know as the voice behind Everything But the Girl. The electronica duo scored an international hit with their 1994 single “Missing”. Everything but the Girl broke up in 2000 and Thorn followed it by a self-imposed hiatus to start a family. She re-emerged in 2007 with the autobiographical Out of the Woods, her first solo album since 1982’s A Distant Shore.
