Kansas City-based band, Not a Planet will be releasing their new EP Smoke Bombs & Cigarettes: The History of Now on Sept. 9th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere their latest single “The World We Know.” With a strong blues-rock base, the track is reminiscent of bands like the Black Keys or the Arctic Monkeys. Strong lead guitars are mixed with a little bit of 60s pop with sunny “ooooh” backing vocals not allowing the song to be easily pigeonholed.
