Los Angeles’ Opus Vitae (meaning life’s work) is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist/singer Banah Winn. His new single, “Carry The Weight” shows his ability to embrace a diverse sound. With largely acoustic verses that sound like Sufjan Stevens, the completely electronic chorus that sounds more like the Postal Service and the song ends on a noisy explosion of electric guitars. All the pieces sound very different but come together nicely in the thought provoke song.
