As soon as Donald Sterling’s comments became public, it was only a matter of time before a rapper made it the subject of a diss track. Although I imagined a LA rapper would be the first, it is Floridian Plies who has something to add to the conversation. The track has some actual fair points like “ride a nigga until his value’s gone/smile in a nigga’s face and talk shit at home.” It’s not the most poetic of verses but definitely more well thought out than I expected.
