New York’s The Rolling Stallones recently released their LP, Vol. 6: Boombox Emperors. The latest single from the album is “On the Flip Side.” Sounding straight out of the golden age of hip hop, Goji Rock’s noisy boom bap production sets the scene for Expertiz and Nick Marv’s in-your-face verses. If you thought LL Cool J‘s “Mama Said Knock You Out” was the pinnacle of hip hop, the Rolling Stallones have something right up your alley.
