New York-based producer, Roy Ford just dropped his new single, “Friday” on the legendary Kitsuné Musique. The track is a cover of Fred Everything’s 2005 single of the same name. Ford said “The original shaped my sound early on and exposed me to a darker, groovier, and more sensual late night aural aesthetic that still calls to me years later.”
For his version, Ford smooths out the tech-house elements. “My version takes the feeling of the original and strips it down to a thumping bassline with dissociative synth stabs and an ASMR-like vocal that I hope brings your Friday night fantasy to life.”
