Seattle, WA quintet Saruna are preparing to release their self-titled debut on September 22nd. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere their new single, “Our Love.”
Guitarist Alex Mortland said “‘Our Love’ feels like it speaks to an experience that’s familiar to all of us (that mixture of excitement & trepidation when new love strikes), but it’s always so new & complicated whenever it hits. I hope that everyone can relate to that feeling in some way when they hear it.”
Even if you can’t relate to that feeling, you can relate to the song’s deep grooves. Its mixture of funk, smooth jazz, and yacht rock is as much Earth Wind & Fire as it is Daft Punk. A perfect summer jam.
