Portland, OR-based Devan Kochersperger aka Spring Reverb is preparing to release his new single, “City Made for Me” on October 6th. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the track.
Kochersperger describes the song as “a meditative escape from the madness outside my quickly shrinking studio apartment. I haven’t left my room in over a week now due to the hazardous air quality. The best I can do is look out the window and remember the landscape that used to sit where all I see now is a void of smoke.”
With warm AM radio vibes and warbly guitar noodling, the song sounds like a lost 1950s 45. At a languid pace, the song plays out like sunny Californian guitar pop. You feel like your should see lawn flamingos while sipping a lemonade by the pool while listening to the track.
