New York band, Tallinn is preparing to release their new full-length, On the Trade Winds on October 13th. The first single from the album is “Captive Coast.” Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is not where you would most expect to hear bossa nova music but Tallinn, the band, has no issue exploring that on “Captive Coast.” The breezy instrumentation, the band says is “influenced by The Sea and Cake and Tom Jobim” and works as a backdrop to the story of a person trapped in a tropical paradise, fading into obscurity.
