Memphis rapper, Tay Rob just dropped his new single, “Lately.” He said that with Covid-19 putting everything on hold, Rob decided to reinvent himself musically and “Lately” is the first signs of that. Filled with witty word play and a solid cadence, Rob said “‘Lately success been weighing heavy on my mind’ is probably one of my favorite lines of this song, because it captures how I have been feeling these past few months as I slowly got back into my music. Being able to still have that desire and drive to pursue a dream regardless of the circumstances, I feel can inspire anyone.”
