In this culture of first, The Melker Project wanted the be the first to remix Jay-Z‘s “Holy Grail.” To do so, he has mashed up “Holy Grail” with Mimosa‘s “Boss.” Unfortunately, speeding through a remix to be able to say you were the first to do it doesn’t always produce enviable results. The track really just sounds like “Holy Grail” with a different drum track laid over it. There is very little, if at all, manipulation of the original track or vocals. It ends up being a bit of a disappointment from Melker who has often proven to be one of the more creative mash-up artists on the scene.
