Hearing this track only convinces me further that San Holo is a world class producer. The Nicholas is a unique musician in terms of his choices, so adding in San Holo really took this track into a new direction. Initially I couldn’t get over how great the bass sounded when it comes in at the chorus part of the track. After a few more listens, the feeling of all the different sounds meeting up at the chorus is something really new to myself. You’ve got the acoustic guitars, San Holo’s infamous sound design with those higher range whistle sounds, and of course that super fat bass. Sprinkle on top vocals that you don’t find too much in this genre and you’ve got a hit with acquired taste. Luckily for me I’ve acquired that taste and am happy to spread it to all of you!
