When I first heard that Clinton Sparks was remixing U2’s “With Or Without You,” I thought “why would you mess with that track?” Then I remembered a litany of artists that have messed with it including the horrendous cover of it by Jawbreaker. The truth is Sparks’ progressive house remix of the classic is more of a celebration of the original that an attempt to bastardize it. It makes it more accessible for the dance-centric youth of America to discover the wonderfulness that is U2’s “With or Without You.”
