Pacific Northwest trio, Under The Puddle are preparing to release their new EP, Safe In Sound. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the new single, “She Said.”
Mixing chugging acoustic guitars and driving drums, the track has a boisterous folk feel but the song actual has tender origins. Lead singer, Mitch Clausen said the song “draws inspiration from the memories of meeting my lovely wife and the wonderful places we have gotten to travel together. This song will always remain a symbol of how lucky She makes me feel.”
It is a surprising format for what is at its core a sweet love song.
