Melbourne-based producer, Valer just released his first single, “Time to Let Go.” Valer explains “I made a successful YouTube video that covered one of Deadmau5’s tracks and got invited to play on his private Minecraft server with his producer friends and management team.” He continues, “almost 8 years later, with no releases under my belt, I revisited the video I posted and was filled with a rush of nostalgia, and the prospect of a future that might not occur if I didn’t actively pursue it.”
“Time to Let Go” is the first step in actively pursuing Valer’s dream of becoming a successful producer. With effervescent and shimmering synths over a shuffling house beat, the song is a heavenly slice of progressive house mixed with elements of synth-pop, chill wave, and electro.
