Berlin trio, Varley released their single “Phantom Studies” back in March. The track is a fairly sparse synth-pop ballad. Fellow German, Soniconoclasm just released his remix of the song. The remix resembles the original just barely. Through vocal manipulation and UK garage drum programming, the track is dark and atmospheric yet danceable. Its beautiful and frightening all at once.
