Vincent Colbert is preparing to release his debut EP, Stranger in My House on January 20, 2015. Surviving the Golden Age is proud to premiere the album’s second single, “Rose Yellow Moon.” Stemming from a game amongst Ann Arbor songwriters, where each got a random phrase to write a song based on. Colbert got “Rose Yellow Moon.” He turned the phrase into a deeply personal song about the “dark days” when he first moved to Ann Arbor. Filled with beautiful plucked guitars, shuffling drum beat, and steel guitar, the track is melancholic but has some energy to it. It should pique the interest of fans of Bright Eyes or Band of Horses.
