Although West End Motel might be the monicker for Mastodon‘s Brent Hinds’ side project, the two entities could not be more different. Mastodon is a critically acclaimed sludge metal band while West End Motel is somewhere between country and tropical beats. At least, that’s what I gather from their new single “Burn It Down.” The track is the lead single from their upcoming album, Only Time Can Tell.
