Wire “Short Elevated Period”

2017 marks the 40th anniversary of Wire‘s seminal debut album, Pink Flag. As the band is shown in their history, they are more interested in looking forward than backwards. This year they will release Silver/Lead on March 31. The album’s lead single is “Short Elevated Period.” The fast-paced, wall-of-guitar track mixes elements of brit pop and punk and inevitably sounds nothing like Pink Flag. The band marches on!
