Sacramento-based producer/singer/songwriter, Yayah is preparing to release their second full-length, Stranger later this summer. The first single from the album is “Amen.” The track sounds like Burial remixing the Faint; it has an electroclash feel but is a little more muted than traditional dance punk. Some expert usage of vocal samples and buzzing synth bass help build the haunting but energetic backdrop.
