Following the success of their sophomore album Mind Over Matter, SoCal chart-toppers Young the Giant are given a treatment by STINT – the man behind one of my favorite remixes of the year (his take on [SEBELL]’s “Promiseland” is stunning).
As usual, STINT finds new ways to twist what is an objectively decent track around the sharp corners of a new model, strengthening the TV On The Radio undertones of the original and turning a slower jam into a well-paced marathon. Again, STINT brings new live instrumentation into the mix with a trebly guitar/hand clap combo to serve as a brief intermission.
