Youth Sector “Self Exile”

Brighton band, Youth Sector just released their new single, “Self Exile.” Mixing elements of post-punk and new wave, the song has the giddy energy of hits by Wang Chung and the Vapors. But like most good songs, the catchy pop songwriting hides darker lyrics. The band describes the track as “about feeling self-destructive, cutting your nose to spite your face, and wanting to push yourself away from those around you as punishment.”
