Baltimore, MD’s Icarus Phoenix are preparing to release their new album, I Should Have Known the Things You Never Said on August 15th via Telos Tapes. The latest single from the album is “High Tide.” The track is a depressing look at life in a capitalist society. Lead singer, Drew Danburry sings “I’ve been working so I can live but I dunno why I’m living anymore” to close out the song. Despite the song’s sobering message, the instrumental is fairly upbeat with a Shins-esque mixture of indie rock and spaghetti western.
