Premiere: David Moon “Feel” (official music video)

Salt Lake City’s David Moon is still fairly new but has already been supporting acts like Com Truise and Little Dragon when they make their way through Utah. His new single, “Feel,” makes it clear why he would be an obvious opening act for those bands.

“Feel” is a summer song set in warm AM radio vibes. It’s sound is similar to Ariel Pink or Toro Y Moi but Moon really has his own style. The video, which was shot by Nate Bali in Miami, shows off Moon’s quirkiness. Between plants and neon lights, we see Moon playing keytar and dancing. Moon recounts the story of how the video came together, “Initially [Nate Bali] was shooting someone else but they cancelled last minute, so I get call saying ‘would you liked to shoot a music video if someone else paid for it?’ I was like yes but I had no clue who the videographer was or what song I wanted to do. I picked ‘Feel’ and we shot the video in 3 hours because I had to leave to go play a show. It turned out so dope!” Watching the video, it really is amazing how well the video came together for such a short project.
