The Dismemberment Plan “Waiting”

When we caught up with Eric Axelson from Dismemberment Plan in 2011, he told us: “We broke up in ’03 because we didn’t want to force a record out and the writing wasn’t coming strongly. We want to make sure we don’t forget that and if we start writing that things feel really good” (Read the full interview here). Apparently, things have started to feel good because The Dismemberment Plan has released their first new song in over a decade. The track is called “Waiting” and it feels like classic Dismemberment Plan with complex guitar work and Travis Morrison’s mix of talking and singing.
