18-year-old singer/songwriter, Dara Sisterhen released her Boom EP last month. This month, Surviving the Golden Age is pleased to premiere her cover of Fleetwood Mac‘s “Dreams.” Vocally, Sisterhen is virtually a carbon copy of Stevie Nicks. Where the cover differentiates itself from the original is in the tempo and instrumentation. Some of the dreamy qualities of the original are replaced with a bit more uptempo drums and guitar hits. It gives the 1977 hit a 60s girl group feel.
