Hip-hop old heads quake in their orthopedic loafers whenever groups like Rae Sremmurd continue to win. Well, the infectious duo, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmy, continue to solidify their title as undeniable hit makers with their latest single, “Perplexing Pegasus”. Produced by Mike WiLL Made-It (does this guy even know how to make a bad song?), “Perplexing Pegasus” uses the same winning formula of Swae and Slim riding the minimal beat with precision.
There was a little bit on controversy surrounding the song with rapper 2Chainz taking to Instagram to declare that Mike WiLL Made-It allegedly took a verse he had on “Perplexing Pegasus” off of the record. Mike Will Made-It denied these claims and said that 2Chainz never sent a verse over even though he had sent it to him three months prior to the release of the track.
Either way, this song is another banger to add to the books, and is a nice treat to hold us over until the upcoming release of SremmLife 3.
