For The Golden Pony‘s remix of Snoop Dogg‘s classic “Drop It Like Its Hot,” they used the instrumental from a remix they did for Hilary Duff‘s track “Sparks”. The New York City duo said “we made an instrumental version, which we have been dropping in our dj sets over the summer. One time we dropped a Snoop acapella over it and some magic happened.” With the whistling beat and retro synth bass line, the remix is magic indeed.
