Common is preparing to release his new album, Nobody’s Smiling on July 22nd. The album’s latest single is “Diamonds.” The track features Big Sean who for the first time in a long time sounds underwhelming. Perhaps that is because instead of being matched with 2 Chainz or Wale, he is paired with Common who makes a big push for still being a relevant rapper with “Diamonds.” While I understand that radio will go nuts for Big Sean’s name on the track, make no mistake that Common is the headliner here.
