Manchester-based Dead Stilettos just released their new single, “Don’t Wake Me Up.” The noisy punk track features fuzzed out guitars and driving drums with shouted distorted vocals. While it sounds like a song that should clock in under three minutes, it manages to extend over five. It doesn’t wear out its welcome though with a unique outro that starts right around the three minute mark. They employ a “Rock ‘n’ Roll (Part 2)” drum beat and slow the song down with some guitar soloing over the top. It adds a little flair to decipher it from songs of a similar ilk.
