Dan Bejar of New Pornographers‘ fame is preparing to release his new album under the moniker, Destroyer called Poison Season–out on August 28 via Merge (US)/Dead Oceans (EU). The album’s lead single is “Dream Lover,” a true rock track complete with a wall of guitars and driving drums. For fans only familiar with Kaputt, “Dream Lover” will sound completely foreign save for Bejar’s voice and new found affinity for saxophone.
