On September 17th, Griffith James will release his Tennis-produced new album, Comfortably High. The third single from the album is “Jesus Honey.” Written at the end of a tumultuous open marriage, the song is a rejection of James’ Christian orthodox upbringing. He sings “fell in love with sin” over strong bass and steady drums that are reminiscent of the effortless cool of bands like Spoon.
