As IFC prepares to release a Kathleen Hannah bio pic called The Punk Singer, her new band The Julie Ruin drop a new, very non-punk song “Blueberry Island.” Included on the movie’s soundtrack, the song mixes elements of indie rock, dream pop, and chillwave. It definitely feels like a warm track for the middle of winter.
