Establishing herself as a studio/touring session player with bands like Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven, and of Montreal, Thayer Sarrano just released her new album, Shaky this past Friday. Surviving the Golden Age is pleased to premiere the video for the single “Crease.” The freak folk track sounds somewhere between Vashti Bunyan and the Velvet Underground. Produced by Abel Klainbaum, the video is largely shot in black and white. It intersplices images of candles burning with scenes of nature and Sarrano finger painting. It is an interesting and often haunting video for a dark yet beautiful track.
