Brighton trio, Superfriends recently released their new single, “Blimpy Boy.” The track juxtaposes jaunty guitars and a poppy melody with darker lyrical content. The break up songs include lyrics like “tonight if I die around all of my friends it won’t be so bad” but you would hardly bat an eye at it over an instrumental that’s reminiscent of Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not-era Arctic Monkeys.
