How To Dress Well “New Confusion”

On May 10th, How To Dress Well will release his album, I Am Toward You via Sargent House. The latest single from the album is “New Confusion.” The track mixes elements of new age, indie, and avant garde with its reverb-drenched synth arpeggios and sparse use of percussion. With vocals that sound like they are coming from an old transistor radio, Tom Krell sings “hell is where no one has anything in common with anyone else” in a rare moment of repetition on the nearly four minute track. There is a chance “New Confusion” doesn’t have a lot in common with any other song you’ve heard but it still makes for an interesting albeit strange listen.
