Los Angeles based Canadian, Abby Sage is preparing to release her new EP, The Florist on October 21st. The lead single from the short player is its titular track. The largely acoustic song has a hypnotizing quality to it; Sage chants on the chorus “cut, step, trip, crack, cut down, trim back” like a sweetly sung mantra. Sage said of the song “when something is broken, I want to fix it. And a florist is someone who through their actions makes a room prettier – because flowers always manage to do that.”
