Brooklyn-based trio, JENTL are preparing to release a new EP called People Change this summer. Surviving the Golden Age is excited to premiere the lead single, “Crybaby.”
The track mixes droning synths, live drums, and smooth vocals. The band describes themselves as “R&B dance-punk” which makes some sense. “Crybaby” ends up sounding like Frank Ocean fronting a Eurythmics cover band. It is beautiful but still fun and danceable.
